An excellent La Tolita / Tumaco maskette. Sculptured from grainy ash clay. Face is
well executed with traditional head garment. Holes on backside of head presumably
for suspension. This is a stand alone piece, not a fragment.
Esmeraldas Region, Ecuador, Columbia ca. 300 BC-100 AD. Measures 2" in height, 5.5"
on custom made stand.
Nose tip and right ear have been restored. Can be worn as a large pendant.
